
As many as 965 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,605 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 965 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 6 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 495,184 COVID cases have been recorded so far.
Health Ministry (MS), 28 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (7 physicians, 15 medical assistants, 6 auxiliary staff employees).
As many as 1,383 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 94 are in extremely serious condition and 9 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 11,918 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 13,783 are under supervision at home.
Another 3,915 people have been treated. As many as 466,083 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 11 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 11,103 people have died of coronavirus in all.
