Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau Zoo will be closed for the next 10 days due to the state of emergency. The announcement was made yesterday by the garden administration.
From 29 September the Zoo is closed to visitors for 10 days. About the subsequent actions and changes that will be operated in the working regime, the administration will announce later.
The Zoo was set up on May 9, 1978 in southern Chisinau, not far from the Botanical Garden. In terms of science and methodology, the activity of the Garden is coordinated with the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the Ministry of Environment. 725 animals of 165 species live in the garden.
