New ARBOM project in Taraclia: modern, safe playground for children of “Plămîce” Center

A new modern playground, adapted also for children with special needs, will be established in the city of Taraclia, on the premises of the “Plămîce” Children’s Rehabilitation Center. The project is being implemented by the Association for the Development of the Bulgarian Community of Moldova (ARBOM), with financial support from the Embassy of Germany.

The financing agreement was signed on September 9, at the Embassy of Germany by ARBOM Director Alexandr Borimecicov and organization member Tatiana Bahova.

The grant awarded for the implementation of the project exceeds 419,000 lei. ARBOM will contribute an additional 45,000 lei from its own funds, bringing the total budget to 464,065 lei.

The area to be developed on the premises of the “Plămîce” Center will be available both to children participating in rehabilitation and recovery programmes there and to those who visit the facility.

ARBOM Director Alexandr Borimecicov said that the organization aimed to attract funding for projects that deliver concrete results for residents of Taraclia and the entire district.

“ARBOM is always alongside our community and is constantly seeking new ways to support it. For me, it is important that our work deliver concrete results: that the social, educational and community infrastructure of Taraclia and throughout the district continues to develop. That is why, we continue to seek partners, prepare projects and attract external funding,” Borimecicov said.

ARBOM has been carrying out projects aimed at developing the Taraclia community for more years. According to the organization, the total value of the grants attracted so far has exceeded 2 million lei.
