Strengthening transparency in public procurement – new measures approved by Government
Government has approved new measures to increase transparency in public procurement. Contracting authorities will publish procurement plans and reports on contract execution on the electronic public procurement platform – State Register of Public Procurement.
Currently, this information is published separately on institutions’ websites, while some authorities do not have their own websites. Under the new amendments, the information will be available in a single system.
Economic operators and civil society will have centralized access to information on planned procurements and contract execution, facilitating the monitoring of public procurement and increasing the transparency of the process.
