State to offer 3,000 lei per month to young employees in strategic industries
Young specialists who are employed for the first time in strategically important industries will receive a monthly allowance of 3,000 lei for a year. The legislative initiative, proposed by PAS deputy Eugeniu Sinchevici, was approved today by the Social Protection, Health and Family Commission.
According to the document, financial support will be granted to young people under 35 employed in fields considered essential for the country's economic development, such as the electronics, pharmaceutical, chemical, machinery construction, textile, food, construction materials, and creative industries.
The project's aim is to facilitate young people's integration into the labor market, reduce unemployment among them, and encourage employment in the national economy.
According to estimates, about 6000 young people will benefit from this support over the next two years. The funds will be allocated from the state budget, and the Government will establish the granting mechanism.
