
Ecological festival Sun Dă-i Fest 2025 to be held in Chisinau on June 22
Sun Dă-i Fest 2025, regarded as the most eco-friendly festival of Moldova, returns on June 22 to Chisinau with a special programme for all those passionate about an ecological lifestyle, sustainable development, innovations and green energy. The event will take place in the Stefan cel Mare Public Garden, organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Moldova, in partnership with the government of Moldova and with financial support from Denmark, Italy, the European Union, Norway and Sweden.
Reaching its ninth edition, Sun Dă-i Fest 2025 highlights green technologies and sustainable initiatives that challenge people to rethink the way they consume energy—all in a friendly atmosphere with activities for all ages.
'Participants will enjoy captivating experiences, useful information and inspirational ideas—from fun activities for kids to exhibitions of environmentally friendly technologies. Each festival area will offer a new perspective on how we can live more consciously and responsibly. Visitors can learn through practical activities how to transform their homes into more energy-efficient spaces. Children will discover the world of science through interactive experiments and topic-related games,’’ UNDP said.
Ath the same time, participants will learn about ways of reuse and saving of everything which means excessive and environmentally harmful consumption. Those who appreciate local products will have the opportunity to explore authentic creations and flavors, supporting responsible commerce, at a craft product fair, according to the cited source.
The festival will conclude with a live concert.
