Eight candidates run for ANRE director position
Eight candidates have been admitted for the position of director at the Board of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), following the examination of applications by the Economy, Budget, and Finance Committee.
According to the committee, nine applications were submitted for the competition, but only eight met the criteria to advance to the next stage. The admitted candidates are: Iulian Jovmir, Tatiana Moraru, Sergiu Școlinic, Svetlana Balmuș, Constantin Borosan, Daniel Chiviriga, Eduard Hadei, and Serghei Bargan.
The next test, the interview, will take place on 20 June, in a closed session. Video recordings of the interviews will be made public afterward.
The winner of the competition will be the candidate who accumulates the highest score, but not less than 70 points, and will be proposed to the Parliament for appointment.
The ANRE Board consists of five members, appointed by the parliament through a public competition. The selection is taking place in the context of the expiration of one of the current directors' mandates.
