Sweden provides military equipment to Moldova for National Army modernization

Swedish government has approved a new batch of assistance for the modernization of the National Army of the Republic of Moldova. The aid worth up to 13 million Swedish crowns (about 1.13 million euros), consists of the delivery of portable AT-4 anti-tank launchers.

The head of the information and communication service with the media within the Ministry of Defense, Maria Aramă, said that this donation is part of efforts to strengthen the country's defense capabilities, aiming to increase the efficiency of military training and improve their interoperability in international exercises and missions.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the assistance provided by Sweden highlights the support given to the Republic of Moldova in modernizing the defense sector and strengthening national security.
