About 300 special vehicles involved in snow removal in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, snow removal and anti-skid works were carried out on national public roads with 274 special vehicles and involvement of 343 road workers. Due to the complicated weather conditions, road workers warn drivers to refrain from traveling on the sections leading to the customs posts Palanca, Tudora, Giurgiulesti and the border with Ukraine, the State Road Administration (ASD) has reported.
According to ASD, the national public road R31 R30-Tudora-Palanca-border with Ukraine is blocked.
"All additional equipment is being redirected to improve the situation. Roads company, rescuers of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and collaborators of the General Inspectorate of Police Ștefan Vodă carry out joint works to solve the situation ", according to the Roads Administration.
Also, on the public roads R34.3 M3 – access road to Slobozia Mare village and M3.1 Giurgiulesti - border with Ukraine, Drumuri Cahul company involves all equipment for snow removal, accessibility of the routes being complicated. "All measures are taken throughout the country to ensure road traffic in winter conditions," says ASD.
The Orange Code of complicated conditions, issued by meteorologists in most parts of the country, mainly in the center and south is maintained until tomorrow.
