National Wine Day to be held in Moldova in first week-end of next October
Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/ - The National Wine Day will take place on the first week-end of next October. The 19th issue of this holiday will have the slogan, Eu deVIN sărbătoare (I Become Holiday) and will have a special programme.
According to the organizers, the event will be held more in the virtual area. Decision-makers will make a review of the progress made in those 19 years and which made this holiday become an event celebrated at the world level.
This year, no stand of wine producers will be set on the Great National Assembly Square on the adjacent streets, which brought together more than 100,000 people and thousands of foreign tourists in the last years.
In the new context, the National Wine Day will be marked according to a new topic-related schedule, which will include: an official ceremony of the National Wine Day, which will comprise the traditional awarding of Gratitude Medals and prizes dedicated to representatives of the wine-making and vine-growing sectors. Also, an exhibition will be staged, which will make a retrospective and will show the most important moments from those 19 years and an exhibition of e-tickets for wine bottles.
Special programmes dedicated to millenary traditions in wine-making, as well as topic-related contests are scheduled both at TV and radio, as well as in the online environment for the first week-end of October 2020.
Wineries from Moldova on this period will have special programmes and surprises. At the same time, more well-known journalists, specialists in the wine-making and vine-growing sectors will participate in an online testing of the Wine of Moldova, thus replacing traditional press visits, specific for this holiday.
