Summer season 2026: Chisinau International Airport expands connections, destinations
Preparations for the 2026 summer season are already underway at the Eugen Doga Chisinau International Airport, even though we are in the middle of winter. Thus, next summer will bring new destinations, direct routes and expanded connectivity, providing passengers with more options for travel both within Europe and to popular holiday resorts.
Among the new routes. there are flights to popular European cities, such as Basel, Geneva, Madrid, Malaga, Rimini and Vilnius, as well as to seaside holiday destinations, like Corfu, Zakynthos, Rhodes and Tenerife. In addition, passengers will benefit from improved connections to more distant destinations, such as Tashkent.
“The route schedule will be launched gradually, between April and June 2026, depending on the destination and flights’ availability. This expansion of connectivity facilitates travelers’ mobility, offering more options and flexibility in planning holidays or business trips,” the airport’s authority said.
The 2026 summer season is thus shaping up to be one with a diverse and accessible supply, strengthening Chisinau Airport’s role as a regional air transport hub and a departure point to multiple European and international destinations, the cited source concluded.
