BTA Releases BG SPA - Health Through Water Catalogue
The BG SPA - Health Through Water catalogue, a thematic publication of the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA), has been released in both Bulgarian- and English-language editions.
The publication was produced in institutional partnership with the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism and organizational support from the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism (BUBSPA). In the edition, BTA, which marked its 128th anniversary in February, presents news from 128 certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres in Bulgaria, whose total number exceeds 200.
The initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is linked to the European high-level event HEALTHXCHANGE 2026, dedicated to the future of sustainable health tourism, which will take place from May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna and the resorts of Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena.
A copy of BTA’s specialized publication will be presented to each of the more than 200 delegates attending the European forum, organized by the European Spas Association (ESPA), BUBSPA, and Health Tourism Industry.
Hosts of the event are the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism and the Varna Municipality, while BTA is the main media partner.
The event is being organized in the year marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism.
The catalogue is also available in electronic format.
BTA also presented news from 128 certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres in Bulgaria in its BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water feature.
