Cahul Customs Post temporarily blocked following farmers’ protests
Cahul customs post is temporarily blocked following protests organized by farmers. The competent authorities are on-site to maintain public order and manage traffic.
According to the Customs Service, vehicle traffic to the customs post is currently not possible.
In this context, the customs authorities recommend that cross-border traffic participants opt to cross the border through the following posts: Leova–Bumbăta or Giurgiulești–Galați.
The Customs Service will provide updated information.
