The head of state also highlighted the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation, noting that government teams are working closely to translate the close political relationship into concrete economic projects.

“Following our discussions from last summer, our competent ministers have already begun working closely, in order to identify concrete ways to boost collaboration—especially in the fields of renewable energy, infrastructure, the food industry, digital services and tourism development,” said President Maia Sandu.

The agenda of the visit to Athens also includes a discussion with experts and researchers in international relations hosted by the ELIAMEP Foundation, a center for analysis and research in European and security policies of Greece, and the Delphi Economic Forum, an international platform for economic and political dialogue.
