A unique agriculture-focused event today took place in Chisinau, where dozens of agricultural machines participated in the “Round Dance of Tractors,” a symbolic action organized on the eve of the international exhibition Moldagrotech (spring) 2026. The event was organized by the International Exhibition Center Moldexpo, through which the organizers aimed to highlight the unity and dynamism of Moldova’s agricultural sector.
Farmers, producers, distributors of agricultural machinery, as well as representatives of authorities and the business community took part in the event.
The tractors drove in a convoy from the locality of Stauceni, and upon arrival on the territory of Moldexpo, they were officially welcomed by the organizers and the exhibition’s partners.
Moldexpo Director Zinaida Popa said that the event symbolized the solidarity of the agricultural community and the important role of technology in the sector’s development.
“‘The Round Dance of Tractors’ is more than a visual spectacle. It is a symbol of the unity of farmers, of progress and of respect for the work of the land. Through this event, we want to show that modern agriculture means technology, cooperation and innovation,” said Zinaida Popa.
The event was also attended by Vasile Sarban, State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA), who emphasized the importance of modernizing agriculture and the role of specialized exhibitions in promoting new technologies.
“Such events show that the agriculture of Moldova is evolving and constantly modernizing. High-performance agricultural machinery and innovative solutions are essential for enhancing the productivity and competitiveness of our farmers,” stated Vasile Sarban.
According to the official, the Moldagrotech exhibition gives farmers the opportunity to discover the latest equipment, technologies and solutions for the sustainable development of the agro-industrial sector.
