Customs Service collected over 780 million lei last week

The Customs Service collected over 780 million lei the last week. The money collected from taxpayers is paid directly into the state budget and redistributed for salaries, infrastructure development, and social projects.

During this period, individuals brought in goods whose customs value exceeds the non-taxable limit, with payments totaling about 27.1 million lei, which represents 3.5% of the total amount collected.

Also, in the reporting period, 12,037 customs declarations were processed, and the flow of transport means amounted to 74,914 crossings. The most frequently used customs posts remain Leușeni and Sculeni, with 15,358 and 15,332 crossings, respectively.

Since the beginning of the year, the Customs Service has collected around 6.7 billion lei into the state budget, which represents a fulfillment of the control figure at the level of 102.8%.
