Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration meets with chair of Estonian parliament's national defence committee
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri has had a meeting with Grigore-Kalev Stoicescu, Chair of the National Defence Committee of the Riigikogu (parliament) of Estonia.
The discussions focused on current developments in the Transnistrian settlement process, the regional security situation and the efforts of Moldova’s constitutional authorities to promote the peaceful and gradual reintegration of the country, with full respect for the state’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri expressed appreciation for Estonia’s constant support in strengthening the resilience of Moldova, the country’s European path and institutional modernization efforts. He emphasized the importance of maintaining close cooperation with European partners in the current regional context.
