Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu took part in the event organized on the 30th anniversary of the founding of the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova.

In his speech, the official said that three decades of activity mean more than institutional continuity, emphasizing that this period reflects resilience, adaptation, and the ability of the business community to develop in difficult economic contexts.

“For three decades, the Confederation has represented the voice of entrepreneurs and has contributed to strengthening the dialogue between the state and the business environment. And this matters. Because behind every investment, every job, and every company that survives on the market are people who choose to believe in the Republic of Moldova and to build here,” he said.

The Prime Minister underlined that in recent years, entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova have gone through major challenges, but nevertheless the economy has continued to function thanks to businesspeople who have invested, preserved jobs, and continued to develop companies.

In this context, the Prime Minister reiterated the Government’s commitment to strengthen its partnership with the business community and to promote a more focused dialogue, oriented towards effective solutions. The authorities’ priorities include reducing bureaucracy, speeding up administrative processes, digitizing public services, and ensuring clear and predictable rules for entrepreneurs and investors.

“We want the Republic of Moldova to become a more competitive economy, more attractive for investments and better aligned with European standards. But this objective cannot be achieved without the business community,” the Prime Minister noted.

The National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova has been operating since 1996 and represents the interests of the business community in dialogue with public authorities, trade unions, and other social partners. The organization brings together federations, employers’ associations, and enterprises that represent around 3,000 companies from key sectors of the national economy.
