
Moldovan PM has meeting with acting president of Romanian Senate
Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today had a meeting with acting President of the Romanian Senate Alina Gorghiu. The officials discussed the process of adjusting Moldova’s legislation to the EU acquis, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
„We have excellent relations at all levels and Romania firmly supports Moldova’s efforts to integrate into the European area. In our rapprochement with the European Union, we want to take over from Bucharest the best practices and experiences in the process of transposing the EU’s legislation,’’ PM Dorin Recean said.
The sides also discussed the intense inter-parliamentary cooperation, at the level of specialty commissions. Dorin Recean and Alina Gorghiu tackled subjects on boosting the economic cooperation, advancement of infrastructure projects, both of the transport ones and in the energy field, as well as on combating the misinformation against the background of the regional security situation.
