Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) has approved the issuance by the Material Reserves Agency of 7,000 tons of crude oil from state reserves as de-blocking to the Termoelectrica stock company, in order to improve the situation in the thermal and energy sector, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Another decision regards the updating of the tariffs for 2023; thus, the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) will accept a sum of 208.6 million lei as equivalent value of the crude value released according to the CSE Instruction. Also, the document comes up with updates of the formulas of calculation of the deficit of electric energy and of the imbalance surplus price, enforced by ANRE for the period 1 June 2022 – 31 December 2022.
At the same time, the CSE members ruled that, starting from 15 May 2023, the term of stay in Moldova of people with right to temporary protection will be 90 days during a period of 180 days. People applying for temporary protection will be able to further benefit from facility measures of stay in Moldova, as well as from simplified conditions of employment, through the mechanism of temporary protection, earlier approved by the cabinet.
Under the CSE Instruction, on the period 31 May 2023 – 2 June 2023, a centre of provisional accommodation for foreigners, who were denied entry to Moldova, will be set at the centre of temporary placement of foreigners subordinated to the Interior Ministry’s General Inspectorate for Migration. The carriage of people to the centre will be provided by the General Inspectorate of Border Police, with the support of the General Inspectorate for Migration. The expenses for food and medical assistance, borne by the government, will be provided by the General Inspectorate for Migration, except for the cases when people are banned from entering Moldova. The expenditures for accommodation for these people will be met by the air operator who transported them.
