Last Moldova's government meeting of 2025 // PM says year finished without debts
The members of the cabinet of ministers today convened at the last meeting of the year 2025. "We end 2025 and enter a new year without debts; this is a remarkable achievement," said Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu at the end of the meeting.
Alexandru Munteanu thanked his colleagues for their work and the progress made.
"I want to thank you all; we have managed in the past few weeks to have an extraordinary end of the year. That is, we end the year 2025 and enter the new year without debts, which I believe is a remarkable achievement. (...) We mobilized to finish the year debt-free and succeeded," noted Alexandru Munteanu.
The PM said that the cabinet members would continue their work, in order to ensure the implementation of necessary reforms.
"I have previously said we have two minutes to celebrate and then "back to work." Now, we have a few days, a bit more, and we will start the new year on a positive note. Of course, our colleagues from the ministries, taking into account the weather and all circumstances, will have less free time, but I hope they will also enjoy these holiday days," said the prime minister.
The PM concluded the meeting with a congratulatory message for all his colleagues of the government and citizens.
"I wish you all a bright end of the year. May we have health first and foremost, and may all dangers pass us by. Spend your free days just as I plan to, close to your loved ones. Happy New Year!" concluded Alexandru Munteanu.
