Less bureaucracy in Moldova: 26 permissive documents optimized
The procedures for issuing 26 permissive documents have been simplified. He parliament today adopted a draft to this effect in the second reading.
The legislative initiative was proposed by MPs Dorian Istratii and Ilie Ionas from the Action and Solidarity Party’s (PAS) faction, aiming to reduce the bureaucratic burden for economic agents, especially for small- and medium-sized enterprises.
‘’By simplifying procedures, eliminating redundant requirements and reducing mandatory documents, economic operators will benefit from clearer, faster and less costly procedures,’’ the draft’s note reads.
The legislative amendments include adjustments to 22 laws, aimed at simplifying procedures, reducing the number of documents and conditions necessary for getting them. At the same time, such solutions as single windows and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) solutions will be implemented; the validity term of documents will be extended and the issuance time will be reduced.
The parliament has earlier adopted a draft through which 33 documents were either eliminated or transformed into non-permissive procedures and procedures for another 53 documents were simplified.
The new measures are part of the Reform Agenda related to Moldova’s Growth Plan for the 2025–2027 years.
