PHOTO GALLERY // Launch of the bio-bibliographic monograph 'TUDOR ZBÂRNEA'

The National Library of Moldova has launched the bio-bibliographical monograph 'TUDOR ZBÂRNEA,’’ on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the birth of painter Tudor Zbarnea. The work was published as part of the editorial project 'MOLDAVICA', the series 'MOLDOVAN ARTISTS', compiled by Victoria STANCHEVICI.

Culture Minister Cristian Jardan: ‘’I wanted to personally express my appreciation and thank him for everything he has accomplished in our national culture. Over the last 23 years, through hard work and dedication, he has turned the National Museum of Art of Moldova into a reference space for artists and the public, successfully completing two unique projects for Moldova: the restoration of the museum's building on August 31st Street in Chisinau, with support from Romania, and the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church in Causeni, with support from the US Embassy.’’
