Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu has visited Cioc-Maidan village, where he toured the local park and Community Centre, during a working visit to the Autonomous Territorial Unit (UTA) of Gagauzia.

The financial resources for the park's development were allocated through the Leader Programme—a state programme administered by the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry, where local action groups asked for funding from the national agriculture and rural development fund. The programme is a successful example of supporting the development of rural community of Moldova.

The Community Centre, the center of social and cultural life in the village, is undergoing restoration, with the building having a unique architecture and significant historical value. In 2024, the roof repairs were completed, costing 3.2 million lei, through the European Village initiative. Presently, work is underway to strengthen the foundation and basement walls, landscape the surrounding area, replace stairs, create access roads and parking, and repair the ceilings of the performance hall. The works are valued at 4.4 million lei and are funded through the European Village 2 programme. At the same time, the Local Action Group 'Bucak Star' (GAL) secured a 300 thousand lei project to create a museum in the Community Centre’s basement.

The completion of the repair works will create a modern space for cultural and educational activities and provide opportunities, leisure activities, programmes, and artistic circles for all village residents. Also, the repair of offices will allow the placement of the dance ensemble, library and cinema hall in the building. Currently, along with the Community Centre, there is a vocal studio, the model choreographic ensemble 'Bucak Usaklari', chess and tennis clubs and artistic circles. Over 30 cultural events are organized here annually.
