Prime Minister: Moldova open to investment and long-term partnerships
During a working visit to Dubrovnik, Croatia, Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu met with Jan Růžička, Chief External Affairs Officer at PPF Group (international investment group founded in the Czech Republic). The discussions focused on expanding the investments already present in the Republic of Moldova and identifying new opportunities for the economic development of our country.
The official noted that the Republic of Moldova offers many opportunities that can be harnessed in various sectors, such as infrastructure, energy, electronics, information technologies and agriculture. The Prime Minister also underlined that the authorities continue to ensure a stable and predictable business environment, to reduce bureaucracy and to provide the necessary support to those who decide to invest in our country.
"The Republic of Moldova is open to investment and long-term partnerships. We want investors who already have confidence in our country to expand their presence, and new projects to contribute to the development of the economy and the creation of new opportunities for citizens," said Munteanu.
At the same time, PPF Group expressed interest in participating in the Republic of Moldova–EU International Investment Conference on 4 June, where it intends to take part in discussions on attracting investment and economic development.
