Moldovan parliament speaker meets vice-president of European Parliament
Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has met Vice-President of the European Parliament Nicolae Stefanuta. The discussions focused on the reforms’ agenda and the progress made by Moldova on the European path.
“Joining the European Union is the only way to ensure prosperity, peace, safety, and our goal is to be part of the great European family by 2028. We know that this way is not easy, but we are convinced that, alongside partners and friends, we will succeed in being on the right side of the history,” emphasized Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu.
At the same time, the speaker expressed gratitude for the support received by Moldova from its European partners. A report reconfirming this support has been recently voted in the European Parliament. Also, the parliament speaker referred to the Growth Plan for Moldova.
“Through this financial support package, which is the largest in the country's history, we will succeed in building a stronger and more prosperous Moldova,” Igor Grosu added.
