
Electoral period starts for parliamentary elections due in Moldova on September 28
The electoral period for the parliamentary elections due on September 28 starts begins on July 14. It will last until the day the election results are confirmed by the Constitutional Court (CC).
According to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), on this period, lower hierarchical electoral bodies will be constituted and candidates for the position of member of Moldova’s parliament will be designated and registered.
At the same time, training sessions for electoral officials and other electoral participants will be organized, information activities for voters will be conducted, the electoral lists will be updated and models of ballot papers and other electoral materials will be prepared.
According to the Electoral Actions Calendar Programme, the period for the nomination and registration of candidates for the position of Moldovan MP will begin on July 20, 2025, and the electoral campaign will start on August 29, 2025.
Citizens of Moldova are expected at the polls on September 28, in order to elect the lawmakers for the future parliament.
