On Romanian Language Day, Moldovan President hosts Romanian President in Chișinău
On 31 August 2025, on Romanian Language Day, President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu will host President of Romania Nicușor Dan in Chișinău. The two heads of state will jointly celebrate Romanian Language Day with a series of cultural events.
The visit agenda includes:

10:00 – Opening of the event - Great National Dictation

11:15 – Laying flowers at the bust of poet Mihai Eminescu in the municipality of Strășeni (brief press statements)

11:45 – Opening ceremony of the concert dedicated to Romanian Language Day, at Strășeni Cultural House
