Congratulatory messages from around the world for Moldova; spokesman for government says Moldovans build real independence, European future day by day

The Republic of Moldova continues to receive congratulatory messages from all regions of the world, on the occasion of marking the 34th anniversary of the  Independence. The spokesperson for the government, Daniel Voda, emphasized that these messages "prove the increasingly close friendship and cooperation" between Moldova and world states.

Thus, the European Union and all its member states have sent greetings and support for Moldova's European path, while the United States and Canada have reaffirmed their strong partnership and support for a safe and prosperous Moldova.

"Congratulatory messages also on behalf of Turkey, Serbia, China, Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Australia and New Zealand, highlighting the growing friendship and cooperation. Countries from the Caucasus, the Middle East and Central Asia – Azerbaijan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkmenistan, Oman, and many other states – have, for their part, sent warm messages," said Daniel Voda.

At the same time, in India, the Qutub Minar tower in New Delhi was illuminated in the colors of the Moldovan flag, a symbolic gesture of friendship between the two countries.

"We are respected and heard. With strong friends by our side, partnerships in the interest of people, we build our real independence and European future day by day," said Daniel Voda.

The Republic of Moldova today is celebrating the 34th anniversary of the proclamation of Independence, voted by the parliament on August 27, 1991. The presence of the President of France Emmanuel Macron, Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz and Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk is expected in Chisinau.
