Members of Romanian Senate Committee for Defense, Public Order and National Security visit Moldova

A delegation from the Romanian Senate's Committee for Defense, Public Order and National Security is visiting the Republic of Moldova on 11-13 November. The delegation is led by Senator Nicoleta Pauliuc, the chair of the Committee.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the Romanian senators will meet with the country's leadership: President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, Speaker Igor Grosu and Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu.

The visit's agenda also includes discussions with Deputy Speaker Doina Gherman, the chair of the Foreign Policy Committee, and members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group led by Veronica Roșca. Furthermore, there will be a joint meeting between the National Security, Defense, and Public Order Committee of the Moldovan Parliament and the Defense, Public Order and National Security Committee of the Romanian Senate.

The Romanian Senate delegation will also hold meetings with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi, Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi, Minister of Internal Affairs Daniella Misail-Nichitin and Director of the Center for Strategic Communication and Countering Disinformation Ana Revenco.
