High-level visit: European Parliament President expected in Chisinau
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola arrives today for an official visit to the Republic of Moldova.
The European Union delegation in Chisinau emphasized that the visit reaffirms the clear and strong support of the European Union for the European future of the Republic of Moldova.
The visit's program includes several activities, including meetings with key state institution representatives, an address in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, as well as discussions with young people and opinion leaders.
Thus, on Friday, November 7th, the President of the European Parliament will participate in the solemn session of the Moldovan Legislature, where she will deliver a speech on the occasion of the establishment of the 12th Legislative Parliament.
Roberta Metsola also has meetings planned with representatives of key state institutions, including President Maia Sandu, Speaker Igor Grosu and Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu.
Additionally, Roberta Metsola will hold a joint press conference with President Maia Sandu.
At the same time, the President of the European Parliament will have discussions with opinion leaders and will participate in a public event dedicated to young people, organized at Spiru Haret Theoretical High School in the capital.
