Moldova's Action and Solidarity Party marks ten years since foundation; parliament speaker: “We will bring Moldova into Great European Family”

The Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) has marked ten years since its first founding congress. PAS President Igor Grosu emphasized, that during this period, there had been both challenges and important achievements. Grosu reaffirmed his confidence that the PAS government would succeed in bringing Moldova into the great European family.

“Perhaps ten years is not much for history, but for us, those who started this project together on a complicated path; these are ten years full of activity, of failures, of disappointments, but also of very nice and well‑deserved victories, a lot of work, a lot of interaction and communication with people and, every time, a great deal of heart put into our activity. They have been marked by challenges, but also by important achievements,” Igor Grosu said.

The PAS leader stressed that Moldova would continue its European path and called on his party fellows to stay united and to make efforts to achieve the EU accession goal.

“We still have a lot of work to do, but we have shown that we know how to work, because when you put a lot of heart into what you do and believe in it, we succeed. And I am sure that we will succeed in bringing Moldova into the Great European Family. Happy anniversary, PAS, and good health. I am honored to be by your side and to be part of this extraordinary team. Happy anniversary!” Igor Grosu said.

The Action and Solidarity Party came to power following the early parliamentary elections of 11 July 2021, when it got 52.80 per cent of the votes and entered parliament with 63 MPs. Four years later, on 28 September 2025, PAS reconfirmed its position as the leading force on the political spectrum of Moldova, consolidating its role in the country’s political life.
