Moldovan MPs to convene at plenary meeting on May 14; more legislative drafts included on agenda
The MPs on May 14 will convene at a plenary meeting, during which more draft laws will be examined in the first and second readings, as well as activity reports of certain public institutions.
The agenda of the meeting includes the draft law on access to properties for providers of public electronic communications networks, as well as the initiative aimed at strengthening the financial independence of the Court of Accounts. At the same time, the lawmakers will examine the draft law on reducing the duration of the emergency state.
In the second reading, amendments to the Law on Citizenship of Moldova will be considered, as well as the draft law on the ascertaining of contraventions in the field of road traffic committed with vehicles registered in other states. In addition, the parliament is to decide on the denunciation of two agreements concluded within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
MPs will also hear the 2025 activity reports of the National Agency for Settlement of Complaints and the National Center for Personal Data Protection.
