Prime Minister in talks with Bălți mayor: Government will continue to support projects that can improve people’s lives

The Government will continue to support projects that can improve people’s lives and bring more order, development and prospects for the municipality of Bălți. The statement was made by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, who held talks today with Bălți mayor Alexandr Petkov.

“During my last visit to Bălți, I had a good discussion about the municipality’s priorities and the projects the city needs in order to develop. Today, we continued these discussions at the Government, together with Bălți mayor Alexandr Petkov,” said Munteanu.

The officials reviewed issues related to infrastructure, public services, and urban development – matters that are important for people’s comfort and safety.

“The Government will continue to support projects that can improve people’s lives and bring more order, development, and prospects for the municipality of Bălți,” the Prime Minister underlined.

The head of the Government gave assurances of constant support for local authorities that come forward with serious commitments, well-defined projects, and a genuine desire to do good things for people in their communities.

“We are ready to provide support to all local administrations that come with serious commitments, assumed projects, and a real desire to do good things for the people in their communities. The people of the Republic of Moldova deserve the best, and this means administrations that work, cooperation, and successfully implemented projects,” concluded Munteanu.

Munteanu paid a visit to Bălți last week. In recent years, several development projects have been implemented in Bălți with the support of the Government, in order to improve people’s lives and create development opportunities in the northern region.
