Moldovan MPs to take oath before parliament's plenum
Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs will take oath before the parliament’s plenum. The parliament today approved a draft on amendment of the law on the MP’s status in the first reading.
The legislative initiative belongs to Moldova’s president and envisages that the oath will be taken after the Constitutional Court validates the lawmaker’s mandate. The text of the oath is provided for in Moldova’s Constitution.
The draft should be considered in final reading, to become law.
