The parliamentary elections on September 28 have shown that when the state and citizens defend their country together, democracy wins and people win. This message was conveyed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, who thanked the citizens for "defending their country through voting".
Dorin Recean mentioned that the Republic of Moldova has shown the whole world that we are a brave, intelligent, and dignified people.
"Dear Moldovans, thank you for the incredible lesson of dignity, courage, and love for the nation. These elections have shown that when the state and citizens defend their country together, democracy wins and people win. Thank you each for defending your country through voting. Not only PAS won - Moldova won, showing the whole world that we are a brave, intelligent, and dignified people. I also thank the state institutions that defended the electoral process and guaranteed the respect of the people's will," said Dorin Recean.
The official mentioned that a lot of work and responsibility will be needed in the future.
