Pretors, deputy pretors of Chisinau districts to become public officials
Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ – The pretors and deputy pretors of Chisinau will no longer hold the status of civil servants and will become public officials. A draft law stipulating it was voted in the second reading by the MPs today.
According to the project, the legislative amendments are meant to bring the legislation in correspondence with the new Law on the status of the Chisinau municipality.
According to the adopted document, the salaries of these categories of employees will be adjusted. However, the pretor will have a salary of MDL 7,700 and vice-pretor – MDL 6,900. The document does not stipulate if payments for these positions diminished or increased.
