DOC // INI head promoted to rank of commissioner
The head of the National Investigation Inspectorate (INI), Arcadie Catlabuga, has been promoted to the special rank of commissioner, equivalent to the rank of general. The decree, signed by President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu has been published in the Official Journal.
The document stipulates the granting of the special rank of commissioner based on constitutional provisions and legislation regarding public officials with special status within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The promotion is effective upon signing the decree.
Previously, the head of the General Police Inspectorate, Viorel Cernăuțeanu, was promoted to the special rank of chief commissioner. During the same period, the head of the Border Police, Ruslan Galușca, obtained the special rank of commissioner.
