Moldova's Judges Evaluation Commission to hold new public hearings
The Judges’ Evaluation Commission on March 26-30, 2026, will conduct a new round of public hearings as part of the magistrates’ external evaluation process.
According to the Commission, on March 26, Ana Cucerescu, candidate for the position of judge at the Supreme Court of Justice, will be heard. On March 27, Petru Triboi, acting president of the Ungheni Court, and Natalia Mamaliga, candidate for the position of judge at the Central Court of Appeal, will come to hearings.
In early next week, the members of the Commission will hear Corneliu Guzun, former vice-president of the Chisinau Court, and Angela Catana, former acting vice-president of the Chișinău Court.
For judges Petru Triboi and Natalia Mamaliga, the hearings are part of the re-evaluation process ordered by the Superior Council of Magistracy, and are organized in the same panels that previously examined their files.
Judge Corneliu Guzun, previously heard on February 2, 2026, will be heard again, due to the emergence of new circumstances.
