PM at exhibition says Moldova grows through people united by care for community, children's future

Prime Minister Dorin Recean today participated in the In Safety on Vacation exhibition, staged on the Great National Assembly Square (PMAN). At the event, the PM welcomed the involvement of institutions in charge of security and public order in getting closer to citizens and promoting the spirit of community.

‘’I greeted today the children and parents who visited the In Safety on Vacation exhibition, organized by Moldova’s government on the Great National Assembly Square. I thank the teams who daily oversee security and public order and who today proved, once again, professionalism and openness towards citizens. Moldova grows through people united by care for the community and our children's future,’’ said Dorin Recean.

The event, organized by Diaspora Days, turned Moldovan capital’s center into an interactive space where employees of the Interior Ministry (MAI) presented special vehicles, modern equipment and practical exercises. Children climbed into vehicles with sirens, tested protective equipment and watched demonstrations with National Police horses and Border Police dogs, while parents talked with law enforcement about frontline public safety activities.

Attending the exhibition were also teams of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) and Emergency Mobile Service for Resuscitation and Extrication (SMURD), which demonstrated emergency interventions, as well as MAI’s Secretary of State Alexandru Bejan, who emphasized the need for a close connection between state institutions and citizens.
