Prime Minister Dorin Recean attended an education conference today, along with over 400 teachers, headmasters, researchers and students.

The official emphasized the importance of adapting the educational system to new technological realities and highlighted the formative role of teachers in a society that is constantly changing.

'We are discussing essential topics for our future: school and the learning process. We are talking about how we support students to remain curious in a world where artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly present,' the prime minister said.

Recean also spoke about the responsibility of adults in shaping younger generations.

At the end, he thanked the teaching staff for their constant efforts to improve schools.

Today, at Mihai Eminescu National Theatre, the conference 'Dialogues for the Future: Education Between Algorithm and Humanity' took place, discussing the impact of artificial intelligence on schools. The event was attended by experts from Moldova and other countries.

The event is part of Education Week in the Republic of Moldova, organized by the Ministry of Education and Research. The week will conclude with a national university fair aimed at promoting universities in Moldova and the teaching profession.

The events of Education Week are supported by the World Bank, the EU, UNICEF, UNDP, Norway, UNFPA and UN Women.
