
Barza Alba brandy maker from Moldova has new director general
Chisinau, 25 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Public Property Agency (APP) today informed that, following a contest for the holding of the vacant position of director general of the Barza Alba stock company, the commission for selecting the candidate nominated Vasile Rosca as winner.
Vasile Rosca has degree in International Economic Relations and has earlier acted as sales manager and led diverse national and international companies.
The new manager of the enterprise was elected, after the former director general of the Barza Alba stock company, Sergiu Babii, had died of an incurable disease in last March.
The history of the Barza Alba stock company from Balti started in 1944. The company began working with a small grapes-processing unit, placed at the city’s outskirts. After 75 years of work, the company has an advanced production potential and a representative portfolio of brandies with ages from 3 to 50 years. The company’s products were awarded at numerous international exhibitions and contests of tasting with over 150 medals, of which 80 golden, 10 Grand Prix, as well as the Star AWARD prize, for special merits in the quality field.
