
AgroFin 2025: Farmers in Northern Moldova informed about funding opportunities for agricultural businesses
Over 100 agricultural producers attended the first AgroFin Moldova 2025 event, organized on May 15 in Bălți by the Agricultural and Rural Counseling Center in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA).
Funding opportunities for agricultural businesses were presented by 10 institutions: state agencies, international projects and banks.
Present at the event, Ludmila Catlabuga, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry emphasized the importance of such platforms in supporting farmers in the financing and development process.
Agricultural producers emphasized the importance of funding in agriculture.
Igor Tcaci is a berry producer from Soroca district. At the end of 2024, he commissioned a logistics center for pre-cooling, processing, freezing, and storing berries destined for export.
AgroFin Moldova 2025 continues in Chișinău and Cahul on May 30 and June 6, with the same mission: to bring funding closer to farmers.
