
Entrepreneurs can benefit from preferential loans up to 375,000 euros for business development
Small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Moldova can access a new advantageous financial instrument for investments in energy efficiency, green transition and climate change adaptation.
Through the financing product, entrepreneurs can obtain preferential loans up to 375,000 euros, under advantageous repayment conditions. Additionally, companies can benefit from free technical assistance from experts to develop business plans adjusted to the needs of each enterprise, thematic trainings and study visits to Europe dedicated to the exchange of best practices and strengthening capacities in the green economy sector.
The initiative is aimed at businesses wanting to invest in energy-efficient equipment, renewable energy sources (solar panels, wind turbines, etc.), solutions to streamline production processes, and infrastructure adaptation to climate risks.
According to the Entrepreneurship Development Organization, three entrepreneurs from fields such as agriculture, public food services, and accommodation activities have already applied for the new financing product.

The financing product Making Sustainable Investments BGK is supported by the European Union, managed by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) and implemented by the Government of the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with the Entrepreneurship Development Organization and Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova.
