
Four exhibitions on food industry and product packaging technologies opened at Moldexpo
Over 150 companies are showcasing innovations for the development of the food industry at "Horeca Expo", "Food & Drinks", "Food Technology", and "Packaging. Depot" (26th edition) exhibitions, which were inaugurated today at Moldexpo.
The participants include companies from Moldova, Italy, Poland, Romania, and Ukraine. The event brings together producers and distributors presenting the latest solutions, technologies and products for the entire food chain, from production and processing to packaging, distribution, and public food service.
During the four days of the exhibitions, visitors will have the opportunity to explore modern equipment for the food industry, processing lines, packaging and storage equipment, as well as integrated solutions for HoReCa sector. Additionally, technical demonstrations, professional workshops, thematic presentations, and tasting sessions will be organized.
"Horeca Expo" is a first for the Moldexpo agenda. Representatives of restaurants, cafes, and public food units can find equipment, furniture, technology, appliances, dishware, textiles, accessories, and cleaning systems at this exhibition.
Attending the exhibitions' opening, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry Andrian Digolean said that the event highlights the importance of the food industry for the Republic of Moldova, from the perspectives of safety, innovation, and sustainability.
Director of Moldexpo Exhibition and Marketing Department Nadejda Rațeeva said that these exhibitions are not just about product and technology displays but represent a platform for highlighting trends and creating long-term partnerships.
The exhibitions can be visited until Sunday, May 18, 2025.
