Chisinau Airport to have new air connection with Serbia

Air Serbia will launch direct flights on Chisinau–Belgrade route starting June 3, 2027, operating four times a week. The new service will expand the air links between the Republic of Moldova and Serbia and provide connections to other international destinations.

According to information provided by Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau, the flights will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, using ATR 72-600 aircraft.

“The introduction of the direct service will give passengers the opportunity to travel between the capitals of the Republic of Moldova and Serbia, as well as to use Belgrade Airport for connections to other destinations in Europe, North America, and Asia. Air Serbia is Serbia’s national airline and is wholly owned by the country’s government. In 2027, the operator will mark 100 years since the beginnings of its aviation tradition, dating back to the establishment of Aeroput in 1927,” the airport authority stated.

The launch of the new route is part of the expansion of the air connections available from Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau, the cited source explained.
