Fuel prices drop

This week begins with decrease in fuel prices. Specifically, the price of petrol decreases by 0.05 lei and drivers will pay 0.01 lei less for diesel.

More precisely, the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) has set a maximum price for 23 September for COR 95 petrol at 23.31 lei per liter, a decrease of 0.05 lei.

At the same time, diesel will be sold for a maximum of 19.88 lei per liter.

The maximum retail prices for the main standard petroleum products are set by ANRE, taking into account the average Platts quotations, the official average exchange rate of the national currency against the dollar, the specific commercial margin, the excise duty rate, and the VAT rate.
