Moldovan fiscal service brings by 1.7 billion lei more revenues to budget in 2018 against 2017

Chisinau, 03 May /MOLDPRES/ – The State Tax Service (SFS) collected MDL 11.6 billion in the National Public Budget (BPN) in the first four months of 2018, by MDL 1.7 billion more than in similar period of 2017.  

The receipts to BPN administered by SFS amounted to MDL 11 billion 625.8 million, up 17.6 per cent compared to same period of 2017, said a fiscal statement.

According to the SFS’s information and media communication service, there were raised MDL 5 billion 466.5 million to state budget, by MDL 947.4 million more compared to same period of 2017, or 21 per cent increase. The revenues to local budgets increased by 15.3 per cent, to MDL 1 billion 120.8 million.

The state social insurance budget, in four months, amounted to MDL 3 billion 849.4 million, which is by MDL 502.3 million more compared to same period of 2017. The mandatory healthcare insurance funds accounted for about MDL 1 billion 186.6 million, by MDL 144.9 million more than in similar period of 2017.

The estimates of BPN for 2018 predict an increase in revenues and expenditures of about 7.8 per cent and 8.2 per cent as compared to 2017, to a deficit of about 2.9 per cent compared to gross domestic product (PIB), as against 2.8 per cent in 2017. The total revenues of the national public budget are estimated at about MDL 56.9 billion and expenditures of MDL 61.7 billion.
