
Petrol and diesel prices drop at beginning of week
The week begins with decrease in petrol and diesel prices. Drivers will pay up to 0.07 lei less for fuels on 3 June.
More specifically, petrol will cost 22.72 lei per liter tomorrow, a decrease of 0.05 lei.
Diesel will be cheaper by 0.07 lei and will cost at most 18.38 lei, according to data from the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE).
The maximum retail prices for the main types of standard petroleum products are set by ANRE, taking into account the average value of Platts quotations, the average official exchange rate of the national currency against the dollar, the specific commercial margin, the excise duty rate, and the VAT rate.
