New facilities for renewable energy production published in Official Journal of Moldova
Chisinau, 15 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- The Official Journal today published the Government's decision approving new facilities for the production of energy from renewable sources.
According to the ruling, rural communities, farmers and ranchers will be able to reduce production and maintenance costs using photovoltaic installations.
The document provides for changes that will allow the location of solar photovoltaic systems on agricultural land without the need to change the destination. According to the same changes, it is allowed to change the destination of high quality agricultural land for the construction of wind farms.
Also, according to the document, the photovoltaic installations are provided to be fixed to the ground by a metal structure and not by the use of reinforced concrete or other type of construction materials that would have a negative impact on soil fertility.
At the same time, measures are being taken to preserve and increase soil fertility. Also included are the conditions for the design, installation, installation and location of solar photovoltaic systems and wind power plants.
The project also provides for photovoltaic panels to be located on land with degraded soils that have a creditworthiness of less than 40 points. The changes are needed to protect high-quality land and increase energy security and reduce energy imports.
